Brett and the plumbers at Velvet Plumbing were fantastic. I had a main line sewer blockage that caused sewage to back up into my basement and laundry room. My home warranty couldn’t send anyone out quickly, and I couldn’t go that long without water or having the mess downstairs with two little kids at home. I called Velvet Plumbing, and they sent someone out almost right away. They were responsive, professional, and kept in touch with me throughout the process. I’m really glad I called them.

I’ve called on Velvet Plumbing several times for help with my pipes and leaks. The difference between a real plumber and trying to fix things yourself or with a friend is all about their skills and experience. Ian never suggests work that isn’t needed, but he also won’t just give you a quick patch if there’s a bigger issue. He always explains clearly what needs to be done to fix the problem for good and lets you decide how you want to move forward. If you follow his advice, you won’t have to deal with the same plumbing issue again. I always trust them for my plumbing needs.

It’s never easy when you have to call a plumber, but Brett from Velvet Plumbing really made the experience stress-free for us. We had a problem with our sewer line at our house in Los Angeles. At first, we hired another plumbing company because their price was lower, but after they replaced a section of the pipe for $3,400, our issue was still not fixed. Velvet Plumbing recently replaced two bathroom faucet cartridges (Moen 1224) for me, and the work was done quickly and very professionally. As always, the plumbing service was top-notch. A great example of their dedication: while I was away in Los Angeles, my neighbor noticed a leak at my place. My pressure relief valve had failed and burst the L-shaped PVC connectors. After a referral, I reached out to Brett, who arrived within an hour. He fixed the leak and installed new piping right away. I had been quoted over nine hundred dollars for this same repair by another company, but the final cost here was about half that price! The customer service was excellent—friendly, responsive, and really went above and beyond. If I could give ten stars, I definitely would. Highly recommended for anyone needing plumbing work done!
